Rubina Hemani, PMHNP-BC, ARNP-C, and MSN, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in adult and geriatric care. She has 5 years of experience working in psychiatry clinics. She completed her diploma as a registered nurse at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. She also has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Florida Southern College. Rubina is well-versed in taking care of adult patients with mental and physical illnesses. She uses evidence base practice and is able to assess, examine, diagnose, and write focus treatment plans using various technologies such as EMR and telemedicine. She is capable of teaching patients and their families about the disease process and involving them in the plan of care. Her goal is to build a strong connection with her patients and include them in their recovery process in order to achieve the best possible outcome for them.
